Delivery time depends on the product, supplier location, carrier, item size, and destination. Many in-stock marine supply orders ship within 1 to 2 business days, but transit time varies once the order is with the carrier.
Larger items, freight shipments, special order products, or manufacturer-direct items may require additional processing time. If your order is time-sensitive for a launch date, repair, marina appointment, fishing trip, or installation, contact us before ordering.

Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information by email. You can also use our order tracking page to check the latest shipment status.
Tracking updates may take time to appear after a shipping label is created. Freight shipments may update differently than standard parcel shipments.

Portside Direct ships many eligible marine supplies, boating products, and vessel accessories throughout the contiguous United States.
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, islands, remote locations, marinas, boatyards, gated communities, and U.S. territories may require prior approval, additional freight charges, or longer lead times. If your delivery location has special access requirements, contact us before placing your order.

Shipping cost depends on the item, weight, dimensions, shipping destination, carrier, and whether the product ships by parcel or freight. Some products may show shipping at checkout, while oversized or special items may require a quote or manual review.
Freight items, dock equipment, large marine accessories, trailer parts, and bulky products may have additional shipping costs based on carrier requirements.

? How do I return or exchange an item? ⌄
Return requests must be submitted within 21 calendar days from the date of delivery. All returns require prior written authorization from Portside Direct. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Returned products must be unused, uninstalled, in original packaging, and in resellable condition. Some items may not be eligible for return, including special order items, custom products, installed or used equipment, electrical components, chemicals, and certain safety products.

? How can I cancel my order with Portside Direct? ⌄
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order. We will do our best to help, but cancellation is not guaranteed once an order has been processed, submitted to a supplier, packed, shipped, or staged for freight pickup.
Some special order, manufacturer-direct, or freight items may not be cancelable after processing has started.

If you created a customer account, you may be able to log in and view your order history through your account page. You can also search your email for your Portside Direct order confirmation.
If you cannot locate your order details, contact us with the name, email address, phone number, or shipping address used at checkout, and we will do our best to help locate the order.

If you are purchasing on behalf of a tax-exempt organization, marina, business, government entity, nonprofit, or resale operation, contact us before placing your order.
We may request a valid tax exemption or resale certificate and any required business information before tax exemption can be reviewed or applied.

If you are having trouble checking out, try refreshing the page, clearing your browser cache, using a different browser, or confirming that your billing and shipping information are entered correctly.
If the issue continues, contact us with a screenshot of the error, the product you are trying to order, and your shipping ZIP code. We will review the issue and help you complete the order if possible.

Product availability can change quickly, especially with marine parts, seasonal boating supplies, safety equipment, electronics, and manufacturer-direct items. If you need to confirm availability before ordering, contact us with the product name, SKU, manufacturer part number, and quantity needed.
We recommend checking stock before placing time-sensitive orders for repairs, launch dates, marina appointments, or upcoming trips.

SKUs and manufacturer part numbers are usually shown on the product page, product label, packaging, manual, rating plate, or manufacturer documentation.
For marine products, part numbers matter. A small difference in model number, voltage, size, fitting type, material, or mounting style can change compatibility. If you are unsure, send us photos of the existing part, label, packaging, or product plate and we will do our best to help.
? How can I modify my shipping or billing address with Portside Direct? ⌄
Contact us immediately if you need to update your shipping or billing address. Address changes are not guaranteed once an order has been processed, submitted to a supplier, shipped, or staged for freight.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout, including marina name, dock number, unit number, gate code, business name, or receiving instructions where applicable.
? Do you provide installation, repair, or maintenance services? ⌄
Portside Direct sells marine supplies, boating products, replacement parts, and vessel accessories online. We do not currently provide installation, repair, or maintenance services.
For electrical, fuel, safety, steering, structural, plumbing, or other technical marine work, we recommend using a qualified marine professional or installer familiar with your vessel and local requirements.
? What should I do if my order arrives with incorrect or damaged items? ⌄
Contact us as soon as possible if your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect. Please include your order number, photos of the packaging, photos of the item, the shipping label, and any product labels or part numbers.
For freight deliveries, inspect the shipment before signing whenever possible. If visible damage is present, note the damage on the delivery receipt and take clear photos before the driver leaves.
? What should I do if I find another website offering the same product at a lower price? ⌄
If you find the same product listed elsewhere for less, feel free to contact us before ordering. Include the product link, price, shipping cost, and any relevant details.
We cannot guarantee price matching, but we are happy to review competitive pricing when possible. Be sure to compare the full cost, including shipping, freight charges, availability, condition, authorized seller status, and whether the item is actually in stock.
? How does freight delivery for large marine items work? ⌄
Large or heavy marine items may ship by freight carrier instead of parcel carrier. Freight deliveries are typically curbside unless otherwise stated. The driver is not responsible for moving the item into a garage, boat, marina slip, dock, storage unit, or installation area.
If shipping to a marina, boatyard, gated community, storage facility, island access point, or difficult-access location, contact us before ordering. Additional carrier charges may apply for limited access delivery, appointment scheduling, redelivery, storage, or special handling.
? Are warranty claims handled by Portside Direct or the manufacturer? ⌄
Warranty claims are handled directly through the manufacturer. Warranty terms, approval requirements, replacement decisions, repair options, exclusions, and claim procedures are determined by the manufacturer.
